Crew position Wanted

Hi there,

My name is Ruth and I saw that there may be some vacancies for Crew members to sail over to New Caledonia with everyone next May.

Kaiser.png

I'd love to put my name down for this voyage as it's something that really interests me and I have annual leave available to me at this time.

As for experience - I  have crewed and skippered aboard several vessels over the past 20 years including various Seawind 1160`s often in company with my brother, who may also be interested in joining you as crew for the passage to New Caledonia.

I am 54 years young and live in Victoria. I love fishing and hope that I may also be able to bring a few rods with me (unless there's some onboard of course).

I am very easy going and happy to do what I'm asked and would just love the opportunity to do something like this to broaden my horizons.

I look forward to hearing from you soon to discuss being a crew member and hope that my dream will become a reality.

If you would like to contact me on my mobile, please don't hesitate to do so - I am available generally after 5.00pm on 0408 787 958.

Crew Position Wanted

Alan & Kimberley Hrlec .jpg

Hello,

Let me introduce you to Alan & Kimberley Hrlec, we live in Brisbane and are currently on the journey of downsizing and looking for a catamaran to buy and move on to and go cruising.

We would love the opportunity to join the Down under Rally in the near future on our own boat, but a journey takes time as does finding the right boat.

We are both very keen and eager to learn and gain valuable experience for our future life style change.

Alan is 56 years young and Kimberley is 57, we have been sailing for approx. 12 months on a Seawind 1160 on a weekly basis, we have also sailed on a Lagoon 400.

We are business owners and have the flexibility to meet or sail with anyone at anytime so would love the opportunity to join this rally. Or any other sailing trip that might need crew.

We have done a lot of voluntary work in the field of crewing seminars and are quick to learn. We are both also laid back and enjoy meditation, socialising and having fun.

Having travelled extensively we are always looking for a new adventure and new people and places to discover.

Looking forward to the opportunity and I can be contacted on my mobile 0409478165 at any time.

2 Steven Mullie.jpg

Hi, I’m Steve (41yo). I have done approx. 4,500 nm of harbour/coastal sailing in Europe and Australia, and looking to help people sail their boat to New Caledonia on the Go East rally in May 2018.

I’m looking to do the trip with our own boat next year so keen to make the passage and be an active crew-member/watch-keeper to help any shorthanded boat in this years’ rally.

I’ve completed the Offshore Preparation Course that was held by the he rally organisers & presented by the guys from Sail South Pacific.

I’m self-employed so flexible with timings and will be available in May/ early June.

I would describe myself as easy-going, I am a non-smoker, I have my radio licence and first aid certificate and completed the RYA day skipper level (theory & practical).

I am happy to pay for own food & travel.

You can download my sailing resume here or you can contact me for a chat

Looking foward to sailing on this adventure with you !

 Crew Position Wanted

Hi I'm Brett from Sydney and very interested in joining a crew for the cruise to Noumea. I have a Coastal Skipper qualification with RYA, did that in Scotland a number of years ago. Besides the qualification I have many years experience as both a boat owner and crew.

I've cruised the Mediterranean for a number of seasons on our Beneateau 40 and J Boat J122. Both were imported back to Australia, the latter I cruised to Sydney short handed across the Tasman from Auckland. Of late I have been sailing twilights on Sydney Harbour and doing the occasional offshore race, although have helmed on two recent Sydney to Hobart races. I have found myself most recently more involved in skiffs, racing Lasers on weekends and dabbling in high performance Cherubs. My most recent delivery was Lord Howe to Sydney, which was diverted to Port Stephens when caught in a 45knt gale for 24 hours; I was one of three helmsmen that rotated for the very challenging conditions.

I'd welcome the opportunity to join a friendly crew for the cruise to Noumea and hope that I can contribute a practical seamanship. I am happy to contribute and am sufficiently practical to help resolve issues as they arise.

Please don't hesitate to contact me on 0403 566 395

Crew Position Wanted

Introducing Jill de Vos & Shelley Beer.

IMG_3417.JPG

We have placed an order for a Helia 44 Evolution and pick her up in April 2019 in La Rochelle and we are keen to get as many sea miles as possible aboard a Catamaran.

Whilst we consider ourselves novices we are not without some experience and skills.

Jill has crewed for s.v Cruising Kitty last year from Vanuatu to Bundaberg , has her boat license and along with Shelley Beer has done 2 days sailing with Keith Logan of  "Too up Sailing" Sydney Harbour recently .

We covered manoeuvring drills, trimming sails, mooring drills , "man overboard" drills , tying knots and we are definitely hooked!

Shelley is a night owl and just the person for  late watches. We are calm and can take instructions and are easy to get on and are happy to share a cabin / berth.

Please don`t hesitate to contact us and to ask any questions you might have.
